There have been quite successful applications in greenhouse investments using geothermal water resources. In this context, especially in regions where geothermal resources are used in greenhouse heating, the competitive power of the products obtained and the cost advantage in foreign markets (EU Market) has brought high tunnel greenhouse farming to the agenda in our country in recent years.

Within this framework, the aim is to reuse the waste part of the geothermal water obtained from the geothermal energy plant established in Salavatlı, Aydın, in greenhouse heating as a second energy source, and to re-introduce this water, whose temperature reaches 80-85 degrees, to the economy as an important input in the production of agricultural products outside the season. For this purpose, the sale of waste water to investors and villagers who want to do modern greenhouse farming is targeted. In order to encourage the relevant groups, a 2,500 m2 service building has been put into operation together with the greenhouse, in addition to the 79,400 m2 closed area by MB Holding.

Within the framework of this approach based on the principle of integration of investments and full use of resources, the sections detailing the economic, technical and financial dimensions of the High Tunnel Greenhouse investment planned by MB Holding Investment and Projects Coordination Office within the borders of Aydın Province Köşk District are included in the continuation of the study.
